Wrap Around Care

At Kings Oak, we believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and our Breakfast Club gives children the best start to the day and that after-school clubs are a fundamental part of the school day and our wider offer for the curriculum.

More Information

See below for more information about our after-school and breakfast clubs.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club

At our breakfast club we will:

  • provide a healthy nutritious start to the day
  • help children to be alert and ready to learn
  • encourage children to mix with their friends
  • improve attendance and performance throughout the day
  • reassure parents that their child is safe when dropped off in the morning.

Our breakfast club is open Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 08:40 am and costs just £2.00 per day which must be paid by cash on arrival.  We provide children with breakfast in a safe environment and an opportunity for them to engage in a range of activities.  Children must arrive in the breakfast club by 08:30 am and the cost is £2.00 per day per child.  We are sure you will agree that the service is excellent value for money and covers the cost of cereals, toast, juice and fun activities to entertain the children.

BREAKFAST CLUB IS CURRENTLY ONLY OPEN TO THE CHILDREN OF WORKING PARENTS WHO NEED EARLY MORNING CHILDCARE.

Feedback

Feedback

We are always looking for ways to improve and expand our extended provision, and feedback from children and families is a key part of how we shape our offer. If you have suggestions for clubs, partnerships or activities you’d like to see, please let us know.

We genuinely listen to our community and use what we hear to make real changes. We are proud that our clubs evolve in response to feedback, and we will continue to review and develop our provision so it reflects what our children and families value most.

Booking onto after-school and breakfast clubs is easy. All bookings can be made within a few taps, using our My Child at School app. Clubs go live at a specific time on an evening to allow all parents the opportunity to sign their children up, and more information can be found on our MCAS page.
